A Day with Niki de Saint Phalle and Frank Lloyd Wright

Roxane and I had a great day today. We started out by riding the Green Line Train to the Garfield Conservatory Park to visit an exhibit of sculptures by artist Niki de Saint Phalle. These are beautiful mosaic sculptures full of whimsy and wonder. From there, we boarded the Green Line again and headed to Oak Park, where Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio are. Several of the homes in this area were designed by Wright, so we wandered around the tree lined streets enjoying the beautiful architecture and quaint streets. Let's hope for more good weather tomorrow!
