Aruba!

The Harcum College girls reunite once again. We met last year for the first time in 28 years, and had so much fun that we decided to do it again! This year we're in Aruba! We arrived Tuesday afternoon and hit the beach as soon as we got here. It was overcast, but still very enjoyable to relax to the sound of ocean waves lapping against the shore.






Wednesday was a beautiful day, with a nice breeze......which means...BAD HAIR DAY!!! We spent most of the day on the beach and then took a sunset cruise. It was a beautiful evening on the water.


The water here is such a beautiful color. We enjoyed the beach until mid afternoon, then decided to go into town to do a little shopping. None of us made any major purchases, but had a great time window shopping. We all decided there are way too many jewelry stores around here.


Tonight we enjoyed a nice dinner at the Janpanese restaurant here at the hotel. We're staying at the Grand Aruba Occidental Hotel, which is an all inclusive resort. I really like the all inclusive plan......very convenient! After dinner, we took a long walk along the beach. When we returned to the hotel, there was a beach party going on, so we stopped to watch that for awhile. No dancing for the middle aged women tonight, so we all called it a day and headed back to the rooms by 10:30. Just can't stay up late anymore!!

The time is going by so fast. It's hard to believe that tomorrow will be our last full day here.
