The Book Cliffs

Warren and I headed to Denver yesterday, but more on that tomorrow.......

I just wanted to share these two pictures I took along the way. The Book Cliffs are just outside of Grand Junction, along Interstate 70. These sand and stone cliffs rising on the north side of the Grand Valley are a very interesting formation, mysteriously inviting, but at the same time present a sensation of unrelenting harshness. I'm sure we'll be exploring some of the trails in this area while the temperatures are cool. There is so much exploring to do around here........we'll keep you posted on our adventures!
